Intense ruby red colour with a hint of violet. The bouquet has notes of mature red fruits, such as cherries, amarena cherries, dried prunes, woodland fruits, blackberries and blueberries. The palate has a good, soft and ample structure and confirms the nose, ending with spices, black pepper, canella and licorice. |

Deep crimson with a youthful purple hue. Aromas of cherry and plum melded with
dark chocolate, vanillin and all-spice. A rich and full bodied wine displaying powerful
concentration of juicy dark plum, chocolate and anise with silky tannins and great
length. |

100% Merlot. Merlot comprises the greater part of the grape varietes used to produce St Emilion and Pomerol. Without it , it is doubtful whether these two communes would enjoy their current reputation, Wines from this grape are generous, supple and round with an attractive softness even when very young. Since the Languedoc is blessed with both the Mediterranean and Atlantic influences, the Merlot can express itself to the full. Origin: Selected plots in the Aude lying principally on limestone/clay bases with good watter retention. Pruning is serve so as to limit yields to 3 tonnes per acre. Vines between 12 and 15 years old. Colour: Intense, deep ruby colour. Bouquet: Spicy, blackberry/mulberry/bramble bouquet. Palate: Full-bodied, supple and harmonious palate allied to ripe tannins. Serving suggestions: Accompanies white meats, poultry and roasts. |
